Mark Tuchmann, Founder & CEO — BeavEx
Mark founded BeavEx in 1989. Mark feels that service and professionalism are the backbone to the company's developmental success, but it is the implementation of technology that accelerated the growth and increased customer satisfaction with the benefits of speed and accuracy. He continues to search for and develop new opportunities to expand the scope and breadth of our transportation services to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Mark continues to interact with the day-to-day aspects of the company's operations and sales efforts, encouraging communication and teamwork in all departments at all levels. Mark has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Southern Connecticut State University.
Jeff Woods, President
Jeff comes to us with over 35 years of experience in the airfreight and expedited ground industry. In 1988, he started his own company in Florida that later became part of the first Same Day Public Delivery Company in the early 1990's when he became the Director of Operations for the Western Region. In 2000, he relocated, founded and was CEO of Air Freight Forwarding Company and Same Day Expedited Ground Company in the Los Angeles area, which proved to be the industry leader in Heavyweight Air Freight and On-Demand Ground services for any size or shape shipment. Jeff is also involved with local trade associations, most recently serving as vice president of the California Delivery Association as well as being active with the Air Freight Association of America and Messenger Courier Association of America. Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to BeavExpedite's unique footprint of over 70 offices nationwide allowing a closed loop service that has the ability to package ground and air movements and not lose visibility or chain of custody.
